Qashqai Crossover Concept History
Shown to the public and officially for the first time at the Geneva Motor show in March 2004.
I was at the Birmingham Motor show in June 2004 (I Owned My Civic then for 6 weeks) I did not know at that time I would be driving a Qashqai! I took the pictures on my mobile phone more that anything because the car looked so futurist and being a child of the space race that never came I like such things.
This picture shows the original door layout, which at the time must have been popular as the Mazda RX8 had not long been out.
While the car ended up true to the shape I wish they had kept the original
headlight design, and not put the Mercedes bonnet on!
